The Struggles of a Pro-Wrestling Fan

I’d like to take some time to make my first real blog post about something I am truly passionate about. This something is pro-wrestling.

Many of you will see the title of this post and simply scroll on. I can’t blame you. Pro-wrestling has a horrible rap in the eyes of many people. Because of this, and the fact it is not deemed as “cool” because it is “fake” or “gay”, many have not even given it a chance. This has also led to the ridicule of those few you know who do enjoy it and and call themselves fans. I did not say “proudly call themselves fans” for a reason. Many fans, myself included, are “in the closet”, for the most part, about being a fan. Now that I’m in college, and word has slipped out amongst my older friends from high school, I am more open about my love for sports entertainment.

Hello world!

Hello All, this is my first post/blog ever so please bear with me.

I’d like to start by introducing myself.

My name is Ari, and I am a student, co host of The Motley Experience, and waiter among many other things.

I am very passionate about Pro Wrestling, I am very interested in Economics, Politics, Current Events, History (WW2), Acting/Filming/Editing, etc.

I am double majoring in Business and Economics and, as a creative person, need an outlet for my creativity.

I found such an outlet in making Webisodes for The Motley Experience on YouTube. However, I always loved writing and one goal of mine was to eventually write some sort of novel. Sadly, with the classes I have been taking I haven’t had a chance to write much (creatively) for almost 2 years. So I am excited to jump back into creative and opinionated writing.

I hope you will enjoy what I have to say, I know I’ll enjoy saying it.

I will also be posting on thefanboynextdoor.wordpress.com so please check that out also.

Take Care,

Ari
